Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 20/02/2026

Welcome to K9INN. By booking our services, dropping off your pet, or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Booking and Cancellations

  • Reservations: All boarding and daycare services must be booked in advance. We cannot guarantee availability for walk-ins.

  • Deposits: A non-refundable deposit of 10% is required to secure your booking during peak seasons (holidays/weekends).

  • Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least [48] hours prior to the scheduled drop-off time. Cancellations made after this window may be subject to a fee equivalent to one night’s stay.

  • Early Pickup: If you pick up your pet earlier than the scheduled date, you remain responsible for the full cost of the original booking.

2. Health and Vaccinations

To ensure the safety of all our guests, K9INN strictly enforces the following health protocols:

  • Vaccinations: Owners must provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations for Rabies, DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus), and Kennel Cough (Bordetella).

  • Parasites: All dogs must be free of fleas, ticks, and internal parasites. If external parasites are found on your dog, we will administer a flea bath/treatment at the owner's expense.

  • Communicable Diseases: Owners certify that their dog has not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days.

  • Spay/Neuter: Dogs over the age of [6 months/1 year] must be spayed or neutered to participate in group play.

3. Temperament and Safety

  • Aggression: K9INN reserves the right to refuse service to any dog that displays aggressive behaviour towards staff or other dogs.

  • Group Play: If your dog is socialised, they may participate in supervised group play. If your dog exhibits dominance or aggression, they will be moved to individual care, and additional handling fees may apply.

  • Trial Day: New dogs may be required to undergo a mandatory "meet and greet" or trial daycare session before a long-term boarding reservation is accepted.

4. Medical Emergencies

  • Veterinary Care: In the event of a medical emergency, K9INN will attempt to contact the owner and the emergency contact provided.

  • Authorisation: If the owner cannot be reached, you authorise K9INN to seek veterinary care at the nearest available facility or your designated vet.

  • Costs: The owner accepts full financial responsibility for all veterinary costs, transportation, and medication incurred on behalf of their pet.

5. Liability Waiver

  • Risk: While K9INN exercises all due care and diligence, the owner acknowledges that boarding and daycare involve inherent risks (e.g., minor cuts/scratches from play, kennel cough transmission).

  • Release: The owner releases K9INN, its staff, and management from liability for any injury, illness, or loss of the pet, provided that reasonable care was taken by K9INN.

  • Property Damage: The owner is responsible for any damage their pet causes to the K9INN facility or equipment beyond normal wear and tear.

6. Belongings and Food

  • Food: We recommend owners provide their dog’s own food to prevent digestive upset. Please label all containers clearly. If food is not provided, K9INN will provide house food for an additional fee.

  • Personal Items: While we allow toys and bedding, K9INN is not responsible for lost or destroyed personal items.

7. Abandonment

  • If a pet is not picked up within 14 days of the scheduled checkout date and no contact has been made by the owner, K9INN reserves the right to follow local legal procedures regarding abandoned animals.

8. Media Release

  • You agree that K9INN may use photographs or video recordings of your pet for our website, social media, and marketing materials without compensation.
